Brief History
In 2020-2021 academic year Department of Management Information has started to offer MA degree to its students. The language of education is in Turkish.

Upon the completion of the program the students are awarded with a MA degree.

Specific Admission Requirements
Holding a Bachelor’s degree with minimum GPA of 2,25 An ALES score of 55 or higher Passing the written and oral exams that are offered by the department.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Department of business administration is subject to 120 ECTS for master degree with thesis. Master program with thesis offers the second cycle of higher education. After the program is completed successfully and programs qualifications are met, master degree is achieved in the field of business administration.

Profile of The Programme
Our objective is to educate visionary, intellectual, and competent academics, respecting to ethic values and using their knowledge for the benefit of the science and society.Our Master’s program trains managers, who have a full knowledge of the academic literature, and theoretical and practical knowledge about information management and interpret researches and internalize the importance of lifelong learning and ethical values at the same time.

Key Learning Outcomes & Classified & Comparative
1. Be aware of the different types of ınformation technologies and systems using in business, have enough knowledge to design a suitable system
2. Analyse the needs for an information systems and have control over the processes at the analysis, design and implementation stages of the database that belongs to the system
3. Convey information about current trends and their own studies both verbally and visually ways.
4. Be able to follow current developments in modern business techniques and technologies, especially information technologies.
5. Understand the interaction between his departmant and other relational departmants, if necessary make a team, take responsibility and do the works with team.
6. Know the information technologies and systems using in different types of business, if necessary take the system responsibility.
7. Be aware of the social transformation especially in their own field and social, legal and moral responsbilities belongs to other work field.
8. Develop their knowledge to the level of expertise which they learn them in license level.
9. Carry out a work which requires an expertness in their field.
10. Construct and perform an academic work.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Our graduates can find positions positions as system analyst by the public or private sector or may work as consultant as system developer or mayestablishing their own companies. They may also chose tp stay in academia and apply to doctorate´s program either in the field of Management Information System or the other fields which accept students from this field.

Access to Further Studies
Graduates, who are successfully completed undergraduate degree and can be successful at ALES and foreign language exam, can apply to doctorate programmes.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Student should register for the courses at the beginning of the term and attend at least 70% of the courses to take the final examination. Students take at least one final examination for each of the courses during a term. All exams are assessed over a total of 100 point. To be successful in this program, students have to get at least 70 from each courses. Students are successful if they get AA, BA, BB, CB and CC in graduate level courses.

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the program, it is required to pass all the courses in the program (equivalent to total 90-120 ECTS) and to be successful at thesis exam. Following the period of the course, a thesis whose topic and scope are determined with the supervision of an instructor must be prepared and delivered. In addition, students whose thesis is accepted, are required to verbally present the thesis in front of the assigned jury.

Facilities
Education language is Turkish in the department. A library and a computer lab is available for students´ use. In the department, at present there are one associate professor, two lecturer and three research assistants on duty
