Objective of the Course:
The aim of the course is to analyze Turkey’s politics on Central Asia and Caucasus with multidimensional perspective regarding economical, military, political and cultural aspects.

Learning Outcomes:
1
To be able to identify the general structure of the Central Asia and Caucasus with its various dimensions including geopolitical, geoeconomical and geostrategical;

To be able to analyze the regional problems with regard to a historical perspective and contemporary developments;

To be able to make comparisons between different power groupings in Central Asia and Caucasus on the basis of their historical backgrounds, objectives and actions;

To be able to evaluate the sub-regional dynamics of Central Asia and Caucasus and analyze their problems, priorities, advantages and their relations as a whole;

To be able to attain a level of analysis to discuss the significance and mission of Turkey and also the major problems in the region;
