When necessary, the course coordinator could ask for additional methods of assessment such as homework, short exam/quiz, presentation and report writing. Kinds of assessment methods and their impact rate on course grade at the end of semester are informed to the students in the first weeks of a semester. As a requisite of regulations, the impact rate of final exam to the course grade at the end of semester should be 50 %. Students should attend at least 70% of the courses. All assessments are conducted over 100. Similarly, in line with another requisite of regulations, a student should get 50 at least in the final exam. Furthermore, a student is accepted as successful, if s/he gets letter grades such as AA, BA, BB, CB and CC from a course at the end of semester. Grades of DC and DD are viewed as conditional success; for those who take these conditional grades, GPA should be 2.00 over 4.00 at least to be accepted as successful in a course. If the course is compulsory and a student takes FD and FF, s/he should re-register that course when it is served in the following first semester.
