General Description
Field Crops Department is founded at Agricultural Vocational High school, Bursa in 1981 and, one year later education started in breeding, sowing, standardization, production, harvest and storage of the field crops (cereals, industrial plants, leguminous plants, and pulses edible legumes), range management, forage crops areas. In addition, tissue culture, physiology, molecular biology, cytology, medicinal and aromatic plants laboratories are used for education and scientific researches.
It has got 13 lecturers. The education had carried out in 1985-95 at Tezok campus, then moved into Gorukle Campus. Besides undergraduate education in the department, graduate education (MS or PhD) is also instructed.
