Brief History
Mechatronic program was established in 1991 with the name of Control Systems under Higher Education and World Bank project. Program courses updated again under the name of Industrial Automation Program with curriculum development project undertaken in 2002. In accordance with the developing technology to the program name and its courses had been given to the last shape under the name of Mechatronics Program in 2005. Mechatronics is the field of science that is based on to perception in an integrity of science disciplines branches which are mechanical, electrical, electronics, control systems and computer software technology. Mechatronic has been become the locomotive of the era by embodying the micro-processors, sensors, pneumatic-hydraulic components, networking equipment, PLC and SCADA components.
