General Description
Public Law Doctoral Degree Program accepted its’ first participants in 2013-2014 academic year. First graduates are given in 2018.
This program has a 240 ECTS third cycle degree system in Public Law Department. The Doctoral Degree is possessed, when the program completed successfully and the proficiencies of the program are ensured.

Acceptance prerequisites
1-Masters with Thesis Degree
2-Enough points from ALES(Selection Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies) (3 years of validity ,at least 55 points from equal-weight field.) (For foreign students, ALES and international examinations like GRE, MAT are accepted and no minimum points are required.)
3-Foreign language ability (At least 55 points from BUÜDS, YDS,YÖKDİL and other equivalent exams.) (Foreign students must prove their Turkish knowledge with a TÖMER certificate.)

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students who
-has taken 21 credits (60 ECTS) of lectures from this or relevant programs and passed all
-succeed a GPA of 75/100,
-succeed a degree of 75/100 at Doctoral Comprehensive examination
-defended his/her thesis successfully infront of a jury
deserve to have a Public Law Doctoral Degree.

Profile of The Programme
Bursa Uludag University Public Law Doctoral Degree Program seeks to provide a sound legal education that complies with the challenges of contemporary world; thereby enables its students to appreciate the value of human dignity and the supremacy of the rule of law. In addition to compulsory and elective courses on the core areas of Turkish law, thanks to its curriculum including a wide range of courses in European and international law, human rights law the Program prepares its students for various positions in judiciary, public administration and in the private sector. Postgraduate students have the opportunity to broaden and deepen their knowledge and pursue an academic career

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Every student have to register to the courses he/she want to take in the beginning of the semester. She/he have to attend %70 of the lectures.
Students are examined at least once in a semester which they must get 75 point at least to succeed. Courses which graded AA, BA, BB, ve CB are passed.

Graduation Requirements
1. All the courses in the program (240 ECTS) must be passed.
2. Doctoral Comprehensive Examination must be passed
