General Description
Students are not accepted to the program.
The name and content of the program has been changed as Landscape and Ornamental Plants Growing in the 2020/2021 Academic Year, so students are admitted to the new program after the 2020/21 academic year.
Students having succesfully completed the program department competiences have undergraduate degree.

Specific Admission Requirements
Prospective students must have high school diploma and sufficient score in centralized exams for entrance to university for Turkish and foreign students.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
To receive an undergraduate degree, students must completed all compulsory and elective courses succesfully (total 120 ECTS) with at least 2 grade point average and complete apprenticeship to 30 days.

Profile of The Programme
The aim of the program is to raise qualified, skilled, experienced, entrepreneurial, dynamic and having infocanation basic knowledge individiuals that the sector need and look for taking in to account there realities and neccesities of the country. Program students will have 4 semestres of proffessional courses and practical training and will have the neccesary knowledge and equipment to be able to work when the graduate.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Our pre-under graduate students can work as qualified assistants in public institutions designing landscaping, municipalities, landscape architecture Project and application offices, building firms, green houses and nurseries, producting and selling ornamental plants, besides can build their own application and production firms.

Access to Further Studies
Landscape and Ornamental Plants Program students can make the transition to four-year under graduate program at the end of the 4. semester (II year´s) with DGS. Program students following under graduate programs in DGS examination may choose:

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Students must register for the courses beginning of the semester and teorical and pratical courses required to attend 80% and 70%. All students take at least a mid term and a final exam for all courses. Additional exams, homeworks, etc. may also contribute to course grades. All exams assessed over 100 points. Students must succeed at least 30 points in final exam. Letter grades of AA, BA, BB, CB and CC is neccessary for course success. DD and DC letter grades are conditional letters.

Graduation Requirements
Take all the courses required for graduation in the legal process (120 ECTS) and to be successful in this course provided that the program continues at least 2.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) and to complete apprenticeship to 30 days.
