Brief History
Uludag University Vocational School of Technical Sciences Industrial Molding Program Started in 2004 in educational activities in Bursa. Since then, many mold technician has educated.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Candidates should have have a high school or equivalent schools certificate and they should have get enough points from YGS exam. vocational high school graduates can pass without examination.

Profile of The Programme
The purpose of the Industrial Molding Program to train technical staff for mold industry. The technical staff is knowledgeable about technical drawing, machining, mold manufacturing. They can design molds with computer aided mold design programmes. They know principles of operation of the basic machinery and equipment like CNC machines, various presses.

Access to Further Studies
Candidates who have comleted associate degree training can study bachelor’s degree programs (enginer or technical teacher) if they get a desired grade from DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) an if they are placed by ÖSYM.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Before the started eacc semester, student mus register for their course an in order to admit to the final examinations they must be continued for at least 70% of courses and 80% of practicak applications. Student are subjected ot at least one midterm and final exam. For each course the instuctor advices student at the beginning of each semester with regard to the reqirements for midterm exminations, paper and other assigments, conditions for admission ıt final examinations, and the weighting of midterm examinations, assignments and other studies in the calculation of the final course grade. The course insructer assigns a grade of between 0 and 100 for each course taken by a student and this grade is known as the raw score. Students must take at least 40 on 100 for each course. A student who has received any of the AA,BA,BB,CB,CC letter grade is considered as succesful in that course. DD an DC ara are probation passing grades. Graduation Requirements
Students which have a minimum cumulative academic degree 2.0 can be graduated if they success the 120 ECTS credit of learning programme in total and complete their practical training(internship.)

Facilities
Program is being conducted by 3 academic staff. As well as compulsory courses whic applied for development of basic and vocational skills ather are also elective course s according to the students’ interest and abilities.
