General Description
Public Law Masters Degree Program accepted its’ first participants in 2008-2009 academic year. First graduates are given in 2011.
This program has a 90-120 ECTS second cycle degree system in Public Law Department. The Masters Degree is possessed, when the program completed successfully and the proficiencies of the program are ensured.

Specific Admission Requirements
Acceptance prerequisites
1-Bachelors Degree
2-Enough points from ALES(Selection Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies) (3 years of validity ,at least 55 points from equal-weight field.) (For foreign students, ALES and international examinations like GRE, MAT are accepted and no minimum points are required.)
3-Foreign language ability (At least 50 points from UÜDS, ÜDS, KPDS, 50 from TOEFL IBT, 130 from TOEFL CBT, 450 from TOEFL PBT and other equivalent exams.) (Foreign students must prove their Turkish knowledge with a TÖMER certificate.)

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Students who
-has taken 21 credits (60 ECTS) of lectures from this or relevant programs and passed all
-succeed a GPA of 70/100
-defended his/her thesis successfully infront of a jury
deserve to have a Public Law Masters Degree Diplom.

Profile of The Programme
Uludag University Public Law Masters Degree Program seeks to provide a sound legal education that complies with the challenges of contemporary world; thereby enables its students to appreciate the value of human dignity and the supremacy of the rule of law. In addition to compulsory and elective courses on the core areas of Turkish law, thanks to its curriculum including a wide range of courses in European and international law, human rights law, the Program prepares its students for various positions in judiciary, public administration and in the private sector. Postgraduate students at Uludag have the opportunity to broaden and deepen their knowledge and pursue an academic career

Graduates of Public Law Masters Degree Program graduates can have the opportunity of working as an academician, a judge, a notary public, an attorney at law, etc.

Graduates of this program are able to apply to a Doctor’s Degree Programme(PhD).

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Every student have to register to the courses he/she want to take in the beginning of the semester. She/he have to attend %70 of the lectures.
Students are examined at least once in a semester which they must get 70 point at least to succeed. Courses which graded AA, BA, BB, CB and CC are passed.

Graduation Requirements
1. All the courses in the program (90-120 ECTS)must be passed.
2. The thesis must be completed and defended successfully.

The language of the Public Law Masters Degree program is Turkish.
