General Description
Business administration department has been carried out postgraduate programs in Social Science Institude that was established in 1982. Academic activities in the department has been carried out in four fields:
-Accounting and Finance,
-Production Management and Marketing
-Management and Organization,and
-Quantitative Techniques
Department of business administration is subject to 90 ECTS for masters degree without thesis. Master program without thesis offers the second cycle of higher education. After the program is completed successfully and programs qualifications are met, master degree is achieved in the field of business administration.

Specific Admission Requirements
50% of the graduation grade average, 50% of the written / interview result is taken into consideration. According to the calculated score, candidates that take at least 65 points are ranked.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Student’s must take and be successful at least 30 credit and 90 ECTS lesson and take at least 70 point at exams. In addition they must prepare term project successfullly to take the master diploma.

Profile of The Programme
The main objective of the department is to raise self-confident, expert individuals who have the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of today´s and tomorrow´s business life. Department aims to enable students produce scientific knowledge through research and publications and synthesize, interpret and serve this information to the society. Department of Business Administration consists of courses in the field of “Accounting and Finance”, “Production Management and Marketing”,” Management and Organization”, and “Quantitative Techniques”. Master program without thesis continue throughout 1,5 years that include 1 year course stage and 1 semestre term project. Each student is assigned an advisor and with the help of their advisors they make their course preferences.

The graduates of the department can work as Academician, Banker, Controller, Inspector, Financial Specialist, Financial Advisor, Financial Consultant, Marketing Specialist, Marketing Consultant, Production Planner , Human Resources Specialist, Manager, Management Consultant

Access to Further Studies
Students who lateral transfer to master programs with thesis have the opportunity to continue doctorate programs in case they meet the entry requirements.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Student should register for the courses at the beginning of the term and attend at least 70% of the courses to take the final examination. Students take at least one final examination for each of the courses during a term. All exams are assessed over a total of 100 point. To be successful students have to get at least 70 points from each courses. Students are successful if they get AA, BA, BB, CB and CC in courses

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the program, it is required to pass all the courses in the program (equivalent to total 120 ECTS) and to be successful at term project.

In Business Administration department, there are fifteen professors, six associate professors, five assistant professors, one lecturer and twelve research assistant. A library, reading room and a computer lab is available for students’ use. Students have options to study at contractual universities within the Erasmus and Farabi programmes. Students may take place in the board of universities’ clubs
