International Trade and Management
General Description
İnegöl Faculty of Business (INIF) was established in 2010 by being published in the Official Gazette dated 28/04/2010 based on the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 08/04/2010, affiliated with Uludağ University.
The department of "International Business and Trade" of this faculty started regular formal education in the 2013-2014 academic year.
The name of the department has been changed to "International Trade and Business" in 2019. The language of instruction of the relevant department is Turkish.
A student have a bachelor’s degree in international trade and business is entitled to the title of international trader and business manager when he successfully completed department courses (240 ECTS credits) and also ensures qualifications of the department.

Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtained the required score in the student selection examination for universities.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
To have a bachelor’s degree in international trade and business science, students must pass all the compulsory and elective courses (total 240 ECTS credits) and also their overall grade point average must be at least 2.00 over 4.00.

Profile of The Programme
International Trade and Business department aims to educate personnels to occupy positions at the most important elements; international business corporations’, companies’ accounting, financement, marketing, sailing, administrative works, human sources and other departments. Cause of this reason the department is designed under the concept of gaining success at the international trade competition area. For his aim the content of academic programme is enhanced with international economics, international management, international trade, international finance, international marketing, logistics, foreign exchange, business english etc. Basic lectures right along with environment and environment consciousness at global companies, inter cultural differentiations and trade, customizing, transportation, etc lectures which are important to define international environment. Most important advantage of students is to convert their theoretical knowledge to practice by the their summer training opportunity at Bursa and its provinces in the first instance İnegöl where have the capacity for industries and job opportunities after graduation. Under this scope students can get their job positions at foreign trade, accounting, financement, production, human resources, logistics, management departments of national/international companies’ in the first instance. Also they have opportunity at plenty of areas at public sector as Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Undersecretariat of Tresuary, DPT, Turkey’s Foreign Mission’s. Development agents. Also this department try to achieve her goal to give a best education to make her students scientific thought who want to get an academic carreer (graduate, phd degree) with its qualified teaching staffs.

Getting least law knowledge about national and international legislation (general export-import, foreign exchanges, customs, transportation legislation) and other regulations for making international trade

Introducing herself to others and represent her corporation by using a sufficient Turkish and a least degree (upper intermediate) foreign language (especially English) as an indispensible condition

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Working areas of or gratuated students in generally are: as a firstly foreign trade, accounting, financement, prducting, human sources, logistics, management, marketing departments of national/international companies and World Trade Organization, UN, EU etc. international organizations, banks, chambers of trade and industry etc. and also at public sector TR Ministry of Economics, TR Ministry of Customs and Trade, TR Ministry of Development, Undersecretariat of TresuaryHazine, Foreign Missions of Turkey, development agents, and either gratuated students can have their own works.

Access to Further Studies
The candidates who have undergraduate degree can study in graduate programs in the field of international business and trade science or programmes which accept students from this field provided that they got enough score from ALES and have sufficient foreign language knowledge.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
To register to classes and to have the final exam, each student must be continued for at least 80% of applications and 70% of courses. Students have at least one intermediate and one final exam for each course. The contribution of intermediate exam is 50% and final exam is 50% to success grade in each semester (the points from homework, laboratory exams, quizzes etc. can be evaluated for intermediate exam scores). All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Final exam are required to obtain at least 40 points. A student has received a letter grade AA, BA, BB, CB and CC is considered successful from that course. DC and DD letter grades are correspond to the conditional success. The student must have at least 2.00 CGPA to be considered successful in a course that he received DC or DD letter grade.

Graduation Requirements
To complete the program successfully all the courses (240 ECTS credits) must be passed available in the program and at least 2.00 CGPA is required over 4.00.

Department of International Trade and Business started its operations in this section with two assoc.prof., two assist.prof. and two research assistants. Students are provided hard theoretical knowledge together with symposiums, congresses, panels, and they have a chance to follow the speakers in close range. In this programme the students are able to be educated in EU states for a/two semester.
