Polymer Materials Master Program with Thesis
General Description
The Department of Polymer Materials was established in 2018 with the participation of one professor, three associate professors and two assistant professors. As of February 2025, it continues its educational activities with five professors and four associate professors.
When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are met, a master of science degree in the field of Polymer Materials is obtained.

Specific Admission Requirements
Students are enrolled in the Master´s program at the level stipulated by the “Bursa Uludağ University Graduate Education and Training Regulations”. The number of students to be admitted to the program and the application requirements are announced at the beginning of each semester on the web page of Bursa Uludağ University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The master´s program with thesis consists of at least eight compulsory and elective courses and a seminar course, a specialization course to be taken every semester and a thesis study, provided that it is not less than 120 ECTS credits. Students who fulfill the relevant requirements are awarded a Master´s degree in Polymer Materials. In order for the student to be considered successful in the relevant course, this grade must be at least 70 out of 100.

Graduation Requirements
The master´s program with thesis consists of at least seven courses, a seminar course and thesis study, provided that it is not less than twenty-one credits in total. Seminar course and thesis study are non-credit and are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. A master´s program with thesis consists of a total of at least 120 ECTS credits, including at least eight courses including a seminar course and thesis study, provided that an education period is not less than 60 ECTS credits.
