General Description
Teaching Turkish as Foreign Language Master´s Program Without Thesis has being carried out at Education Sciences Institute within Turkish Education Science since 2016.
This program offers master’s degree without thesis when 90 ECTS credits are completed successfully and programme sufficiencies are provided.

Specific Admission Requirements
Students are accepted to Teaching Turkish as Foreign Language Master Program Without Thesis according to the conditions in 1., 2., 3., 4., 5. and 6. clauses of 14. theme and 1., 2., 3., 4., 5. clauses of a, b, c, ç, d, 12. theme of 9/1 theme of “Uludağ University Postgraduate Education Regulations” published on 25th June 2014 date and 29041 number official newspaper. In order to apply master program candidates have to have graduated from Turkish Education(Teaching), School Teaching, Foreign Languages Education, Philology, Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting programs. Stıdents are accepted to master’s program with postgraduate entrance exam carried out according to Uludağ University Postgraduate Education and Exam Regulations. The education and thesis language of the program is Turkish.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Master bachelor’s degree is handed in to students having taken at least 30 credits course (90 ECTS) from this program or courses in other departments’ available programmes related to this field and having completed all courses succesfully, having at least 70 grade point average on the scale of 100 and having presented thesis related to his/her topic field in front of chosen jury.

The aim of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language Master’s Program Without Thesis is to train specialist person having information, skills, behaviour and experince for doing educational, instructional and advanced researches in this field, thinking critically, self-confident and having qualifications to pursue innovations related to his/her field nationally and internationally.

Upon successful completion of post graduate degree without thesis candidate can continue to his/her education in postgraduate program in Educational Science Institutions or postgraduate programme connected to this field if s/he has prevenient conditions.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Every student must register for the courses at the beginning of the term and attend 70% in theoretical, 80% of practical sessions of courses to participate final exams. Students are evaluated with at least one mid-term exam and final exam for every lesson. Mid-term exam and final exam contribute 50% to pass mark. All exams are evaluated on the scale of 100 points. Students must get at least 40 points from the final exam. Students who get AA, BA, BB, CB and CC are considered successful. DC and DD are notes that conditionally successful. Iorder to be succesful for a lesson from which the student having gotten DC or DD cumulative GPA must be minimum 2.00.

Graduation Requirements
To complete program successfully all courses available on the program must be completed (120 ECTS) the minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0/4.0 and master’s thesis must be approved by being defended.

Education and teaching activities have being carried out in technical equipped classrooms.
Our university is wealthy with regard to the center library, periodical and online database . Uludağ University Center Library and Education Faculty Library have being used by our students effectively.
