Financial Management in Business
General Description
The Non-Thesis Master Program in Financial Management in Business is administered by the Accounting and Finance Department within the Institute of Social Sciences. The program is taught by experienced and qualified faculty members of the Business Administration Department, which has been providing postgraduate education since 1982.
This program is a graduate program of 90 ECTS credits for Master of Science in Business Administration and Higher Education. When the program is successfully completed and program qualifications are provided, the Master´s degree in the field of financial management in business is obtained.

Specific Admission Requirements
Having a bachelor´s degree (Those who have a bachelor´s degree except for Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration or Faculty of Business Sciences will attend a 1-year scientific preparation program). 50% of the graduation grade average is taken into consideration at 50% of the written / interview result. According to the calculated score, at least 65 points are ranked among the fields.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Students who have completed 30 credit and 90 ECTS courses from the courses in the master program without thesis and at least 70 out of 100 in the graduate program and successfully completed the semester project prepared by the related topic are awarded a master´s diploma in Business Administration.

The main aim of the program is to provide confident graduates with the knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of today and tomorrow´s working life. The program aims to improve the students´ ability to research, analyze, synthesize and interpret, and to help them organize and collect their works.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Program graduates are employed in public and private sector organizations; They have the opportunity to practice many professions such as accounting manager, finance manager, inspector, account specialist, controller, banker, auditor, financial consultant, financial analyst, specialist as well as have the opportunity to establish their own business and make their profession.

Access to Further Studies
In the case of graduates who are transferred to the graduate program with the transfer, they can continue their doctorate programs in case they have entrance conditions

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
In order for each student to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester and to be able to take the final exam, at least 70% of the courses must be continued. Students are required to take at least one final exam and a makeup exam for each course. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. There is a requirement to take at least 70 points from the final exam. Students who take one of the letter grades AA, BA, BB and CB are considered to have completed the course.

Graduation Requirements
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (90 ECTS credits) and successfully complete the term project.

In Department of Accounting and Finance, there are 6 Professors, 4 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors and 2 Research Assistants. A library, reading room and a computer lab are available for students’ use. Students have options to study at contractual universities within the Erasmus and Farabi programs.
