General Description
Machinery Program has started education in 2012 academic years and continues both primary and secondary program with 165 students in 2021
Machine Technician (Associate Degree)
Short Cycle
4
Specific Admission Requirements
These requirements are determined by the regulations of The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in accordiance with ÖSYM which is the student selection and placement center in TURKEY
5
Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.
6
Qualification Requirements and Regulations
National qualifications frameworks may contain levels (or intermediate qualifications) within the three Bologna cycles (e.g. a short cycle within the first cycle). These levels allow institutions to structure a particular qualification and regulate progression through the qualification. Qualification Requirements and Regulations are enacted by YÖK (The Council Of Higher Education) in Turkey

Profile of The Programme
Efficient and right application of equipment and machinery in industrial actions are quite important. The lack of work force equipped and skilled in engineering sciences, production, mechanical design and mechanics fields with computer, analysis and design skills is high. Graduated students who have a mechanical technician title earn general knowledge and ability in the subjects such as traditional manufacturing methods, design techniques, material choice, computer-aided design and manufacturing methods. This programme intends to include all kinds of practical and theoretical aspects of the field of study and it aims to furnish students with fundamental knowledge about mechanical design, mechanical science and mechanical components to equip students with the skills required in conventional manufacturing methods, design techniques, material choice, computer-aided design and manufacturing methods.
