19 Objective of the Course: All-over goals of this course are; to foster critical thinking about art through examination of pertinent artworks related to art theory; to facilitate her/his ability to describe, interpret and judge art orally and in writing; to guide the student to an understanding of the main issues and problems confronting artists; to encourage students to develop their philosophy of art in relation to the contemporary art environment.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Analyzes the art piece in the context of iconography and plasticity.;
2 Discusses the form and content relations in art piece.;
3 Distinguishes the problems about form, color, harmony, light-shade, light-dark, rhythm, movement, direction, balance and compliance in an art piece.;
4 Claryfies the relations between style of artist and style of era. ;
5 Establishes cause and effect relations between social events, facts and work of art.;
6 Gains the skill of using theoretical knowledge in the artistic creation process. ;
7 Assesses self studies in the context of iconology, iconography, psychology, philosophy and sociology.;
