19 Objective of the Course: This course is about the techniques of expressing ideas and information by a designer. Such techniques are shown in historical evolution. The course also requires applications of various techniques of representation used since Beaux-Arts until the modern times.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Using as a tool architectural representation approaches in architectural design process ;
2 To develop architectural linguistic vocabulary.;
3 Evaluation of as a “positive support unit” in expression of architectural spacial concepts . ;
4 Being awraenes of architectural representations and approaches positive potantial both architectural and individual excistence stage. ;
5 Discovering the contemporary representation methods as a tool. ;
6 Using 2 and 3 dimensional architectural representation techniques. ;
7 Using color as s tool.;
8 Graphic design and typography concepts;

Week Theoretical Practical
1 Course content and general program
2 Different approaches of representation techniques whic are used by famoues architects.
3 Representation tools such as pencils, aquarels, papers etc.
4 Sketching techniques, and using as a tool in design process. Homework.
5 Discussion
6 Aquarel tecniques, various examples.
7 A guest artist who is good at aquarel techniques; a speech and workshop.
8 Paper layout, balance, typografy, concepts. Various practises.
9 What is color & light ? homework and discussion.
10 Discussion
11 Discussion of final homewrok. Advices about students architectural design studio works.
12 Black&White, Contrast concepts. Iakov Chernikov, Malevich and Hadid.
