19 Objective of the Course: The objective is to define memory as a cognitive function and to understand research findings and theories about memory processes, various visual and auditory memory phenomena and memory disorders.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Define basic phenomena of memory;
2 Understand the methods used in animal and human memory research;
3 Understand the connection between working memory and consciousness;
4 Distinguish epizodic and semantic memory;
5 Distinguish explicit and implicit memory;
6 Recognize what kind of functions are disrupted in memory disorders;
7 Revaluate theoretical attemts to explain memory porocesses, based on current scientific findings;
8 Create new research proposals about memory processes;
