19 Objective of the Course: It is aimed to explain the mosaic pavement examples from the earliest examples and its development to the end of the Roman period.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to know origin and starting point of mosaic art.;
2 Learning of mosaic terminology;
3 To be able to know materials and techniques which are used in mosaic art.;
4 To be able to know pebble mosaics.;
5 To be able to know and use the important sources for mosaic art.;
6 To be able to know development of mosaic art.;
7 To be able to know important mosaic examples, to be able to distinguish the different workshops and local differences.;
8 To be able to describe periodically buildings and rooms, thanks to their compositional and repertoire features ;
9 Learning to study methods in mosaic studies;
10 To be able to describe correctly and detailed the designs on mosaics;
