19 Objective of the Course: Comprehending the approach of some current ideas to hadiths, introducing the students the methodology of textual criticism and literature about issue.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Comprehending the basic approaches of Prophet and sahaba to criticise the hadiths.;
2 The ability to evaluate the hadith according to Qoran and reliable tradition.;
3 Analyizing the reliability of hadith movement from it’s text.;
4 The ability to comprehend the harmony of hadith with scientific data.;
5 Criticising the hadiths according to mind.;
6 The ability to analyze the approaches of scholars to narrations outside the hadith scholars.;
7 The ability to analyize the orientalist methods about hadiths. ;
8 The ability to know the literature about issue in Turkey and abroad.;
9 Comprehending the importance of academic studies in days and past about hadith criticism.;
10 To be aware of the weak and strong side of textual criticism.;

1 Textual criticism in Prophet period.
2 Textual criticism in sahaba period.
3 The source of textual criticism in hadith.
4 The contribution of duafa and mevduat literature to textual criticism.
5 Demonstration of hadiths to Qoran.
6 Demonstration of hadiths to scientific facts and history.
7 Textual criticism of fukaha (Islamic jurists).
8 Orientalist criticising to hadith movement from hadith’s texts.
9 The literature about textual criticism in hadith in Turkey.
10 The literature about textual criticism in hadith in West and Arabic countries.
11 Hadiths on fitan in the concept of textual criticism.
12 Buhari’s narrations that was exposed to criticism
13 The relationship between textual criticism and tahkik studies.
14 The reliability of hadith that is exposed to criticism.
