19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to discuss the effects of globalization on urban identity by focusing the components of the urban identity and research methods used in urban identity studies.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To provide architecture students with the ability to analyze and develop urban identity in urban planning and urban design studies.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To recognize the importance of the concept of identity in the field of architecture;
2 To learn the dimensions of urban/place identity;
3 To have knowledge about the methods to evaluate the urban/place identity;
4 To evaluate the spatial reflections of the globalization process over different cities;
5 To be aware of the positive / negative effects of globalization on urban / place identity;
