19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course; It is the acquisition of methods and techniques that will provide text selection and use in the process of education and teaching of Turkish.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development This course will provide students with the ability to select and use texts in the process of teaching and learning Turkish.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To have information about text selection and use in the process of teaching and learning Turkish;
2 To have knowledge about the methods and techniques of text selection and use in the process of teaching and teaching Turkish, which is a text-centered course.;
3 Being able to make and implement plans about the use of text in line with the general objectives of the Turkish Education Program.;
4 To be able to use the literary texts of Turkish language and culture as teaching materials.;
5 Being able to design instructional materials on literary texts of different genres.;
6 To be able to determine the positive and negative aspects of the genre features of literary texts in terms of text usage in the process of teaching Turkish.;
7 Acquiring the methods related to the selection of event-based literary text types and the use of these texts in the process of teaching Turkish;
8 Acquiring the methods related to the selection of literary text types based on emotion and the use of these texts in the process of teaching Turkish;
9 Acquiring the methods related to the selection of knowledge-based literary text types and the use of these texts in the process of teaching Turkish;
10 To be able to create educational texts for the purpose of teaching Turkish and develop supporting materials on these texts.;

1 Content of the lesson and the operation plan
2 Determination and evaluation of texts that can be used in the process of teaching Turkish
3 Determination of text-centered language teaching methods and techniques during the teaching of Turkish
4 Resource scanning studies for the purpose of text selection and use in the process of teaching Turkish and evaluation of the results
5 Principles to be considered in the transformation of literary texts into teaching materials that can be used in the process of teaching Turkish and developing materials
6 Evaluation of the convenience and limitations of event-based genres in the process of text selection and use of Turkish teaching
7 Evaluation of the feasibility and limitations of emotion-based genres in the process of text selection and use of Turkish teaching
8 Evaluation of the feasibility and limitations of knowledge-based genres in the process of text selection and use of Turkish teaching
9 Text selection and usage studies on event-based literary texts
10 Text selection and use studies on emotional literary texts
