19 Objective of the Course: To comprehend the discussions of ijtihad-taqlid extending from past to present
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Field knowledge acquisition
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know the terminology related to the field of expertise. ;
2 To understand the function and importance of usul al-fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) the formation of Islamic culture and civilization ;
3 To acquire comprehensive knowledge on how shari' rules are derived in Islamic jurisprudence ;
4 To comprehend the approaches of mujtahid to the issue of ijtihad based on information learned ;
5 To contribute to solving the problems that occur today related to ijtihad ;
6 To offer an opinion in the discussions about affiliation with a madhhab critically and analytically ;
7 To understand the methods of ijtihad ;
8 To arrive at scientific evaluations about the value of new methods that can be used in deriving rules from Quran and Sunnah ;
9 To provide the need for community religious social services, religious counseling and guidance ;
10 To know the current religious affairs and produce solution ;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Ijtihad and mujtahid concepts, and the necessity of ijtihad and its provision
2 Ijtihad activities during the historical period (ijtihad in the period of the Prophet and the Companions)
3 Ijtihad activities during the historical period (ijtihad in the period of tabiin and mujtahid Imams)
4 Provision, clause by putting meaning extraction (Has, amm, absolute and mukayyed, joint, müevvel)
5 In terms of openness or closure mana lafızlar (Zahir, nass, müfesser, sturdy, Lightweight, müşkil, mücmel and ambiguous)
6 Semantic meaning in terms of usage and meaning lafızlar (Truth is, no pun intended, explicit, allusion, decreed the phrase, sign, which signifies nassıyla and iktizasıyla lafızlar)
7 Companions ijtihad in terms of shari‘ evidence, theoretical and practical importance of ijma‘ (consensus)
8 Theoretical and practical importance of the secondary evidence (istihsan, istislah, urf and Shar u Men Kablena)
9 Change of ijtihads depending on customs and traditions
10 Exercise of Hanafis to deriving rules from Quran and Sunnah
11 The Conflict of Between The Sources and naskh (abolishment)
12 The conditions required for mujtahid
13 Controversial issues related to ijtihad (gate of Ijtihad, capacity to ijtihad and splitting (tajazzi) of ijtihad)
