19 Objective of the Course: To get skills to be able to compare fiqh texts written in classical periods in terms of language, style, content and methodology
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Gains the ability to understand and interpret classical fiqh texts.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To read the classical texts of Islamic law independantly;
2 To be able to recognize the classical fiqh books that form the traditional fiqh teaching;
3 To understand and to interpret the text about the area of expertise;
4 To be able to recognize the common features of classical fiqh texts;
5 To be able to recognize the change in the development process of fiqh through fiqh texts;
6 To be able to recognize the relationships between various types of classical fiqh books such as matn, sharh, hashiye and ta'leeq;
7 To find similarities between Islamic society of past periods and today's muslim society from the point of informations which were gathered from classical Islamic texts;
8 To be able to establish a relationship between today's fiqh problems and classical fiqh texts;
9 To be able to compare the fiqh texts of Sunni, Shiite and other sects;
10 To be able to explain and interpret the differences between Sunni fiqh schools through fiqh texts;

2 Main basic fiqh texts of Sunni and non-Sunni fiqh schools
3 Reading methods of classical fiqh texts and comparative analysis
4 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of sect difference
5 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of period difference
6 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of period difference
7 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of the difference between scientific tradition
8 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of the difference in copyright type
9 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of their relation to creed sects
10 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of subject classification
11 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of language and style
12 Comparison of classical fiqh texts in terms of source value
