19 Objective of the Course: In the course of public health nursing, students know the strategies for protecting the health of the society. It examines the health issues in the world and our country and the factors affecting it, the management of the health services for the person and the environment. Through the public health nursing process approach, it helps to develop service development, problem solving, counseling and teaching skills in the field of application.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Doing service development studies in the field of public health nursing, problem solving, counseling and teaching skills.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know historical development of public health nursing;
2 Knowing the roles of the public health nurse;
3 To know health and disease relation;
4 To be able to analyze and synthesize factors affecting individual and family health;
5 Understanding the philosophy of education;
6 Knowing public health nursing approach models in the development of health;
7 Recognition of community and implementation of community nursing process;
8 Having information about health-related policies;
9 Understanding human, environment and health relation. To be able to identify risk groups in society together with their problems;
10 To know and follow new approaches and practices in the field of public health nursing;
