19 Objective of the Course: To inform students about poetry in general and modern Arabic poetry in particular. To increase the student's interest in literature. To provide a more accurate analysis of poetry.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development As it increases the student's mastery of the Arabic language, it will enable them to be better in professional fields related to Arabic.

1 Understands the poetry of the period of Jahiliyya;
2 Understands Islamic period poetry;
3 Can compare Jahiliyya poetry with Islamic period poetry;
4 Enjoys reading poetry;
5 Analyzes the Arabic poems more correctly;
6 Recognize the leading poets of the Arab world;
7 Becomes more proficient in Arabic;
