19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this couse is to teach knowledge and skills required in teaching basic artistic skills to students with special needs.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To be able to support students in artistic skills while working with students with special needs
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Explain the concept of art in art and special education.;
2 Explain the importance of teaching artistic skills for students with special needs.;
3 Explain the aims of artistic skills in special education.;
4 Explain the features of the programs for artistic skills used in special education schools.;
5 Explain the features of child painting and its importance in development.;
6 Explain the characteristics of painting skills observed in children with special needs.;
7 Describes the skills and activities required for the development of motor skills.;
8 Describe the skills and activities required for holding a pencil, painting and drawing.;
9 Describe the skills and activities required for using scissors, sticking, kneading materials.;
10 Explain the methods that can be used in the teaching of artistic skills.;

9 Teaching of playing with play dough etc.
10 Teaching painting skills
11 Teaching cutting, tearing and gluing skills
12 Music education for children with special needs
13 Use of drama in children with special needs
