19 Objective of the Course: Developing understanding, descripting, listening, power of creating through music. Differences and similarities between the Turkish music and Western music with classical and folkloric types. The place of Turkish music and Western music in the world music. Besides musical awareness, thinking, performing and creative skills of interpretation understanding that music is a common language all over the world. To perform samples taken from the works of Turkish and world music according to sound features and levels. To work out the sense of working together and solidarity. To perform the national and chamber music works according to periods. To make activities with the studied repertoire.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To be able to use the individual instrument effectively as a group member in the field of teaching profession.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to earn technical knowledge and skills of playing and singing together.;
2 To be able to perform samples of educational music and national and universal chamber music together with the group. ;
3 To be able to perform the works for chamber music according to the characteristic of their period.;
4 To be able to perform the piece according to the character and the features of the dynamics. ;
5 To be able to have the ability of playing-singing in front of the people.;
6 To be able to create musical instrument and sound groups and to do activities in the field of music education.;
22 Course Content:

1 Establishing Chamber Music Groups Practicing scales with the established chamber music groups
2 Determining simple form of chamber music works of national and universal music. Sight reading of simple form of chamber music works of national and universal music
3 Simple form of national and universal chamber music works. Sight reading of the Works.
4 Analysing different techniques of the practiced works. Doing technical studies Related to Performed Works.
5 Tempo and Dynamics Performing the practiced Works with the indicated tempo and the Dynamics.
6 Performing Performing the Works according to their styles of the period.
7 Creating a Concert Program and Creativity Creating a Concert Program and Creativity
8 Determining larger forms of chamber music works of national and universal music. Sight reading the works
9 Analysing different techniques of the practiced works. Doing technical studies Related to Performed Works
10 Tempo and Dynamics Performing the practiced Works with the indicated tempo and the Dynamics.

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course The midterm exams of this course were carried out by the instructor individually. Students respond to open-ended questions prepared on Ukey and send their written papers and recordings of the exam pieces they voiced to the instructor via e-mail.
Information Students were evaluated in absolute terms with a rating scale (instrument evaluation form) prepared by the commission. Students vocalize their exam pieces.
