19 Objective of the Course: This course aims to introduce the concepts of curriculum,syllabus and materials and helps students to select, evaluate, adapt and design materials and syllabus that will suit their specific educational context.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development It helps prospective teachers to be able to analyse their curriculum,syllabus and materials and Evaluate modify and design them in line with the aims of the course and the students.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 They can analyse specific educational context and evaluate use of materials syllabus within that context.;
2 They can evaluate and select ELT materials within specific context;
3 They can adapt materials and make them suitable for the context.;
4 They can evaluate ELT syllabus by comparing them. ;
5 They can learn to carry out needs analysis and apply it.;
6 They can prepare a brief syllabus and related materials and apply them.;
