19 Objective of the Course: The objective of this course is to equip pre-service teachers with the necessary techniques and skills to teach communicative language skills in an integrated way.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Upon successful completion of the course, the students will acquire knowledge of English language teaching program, methodological strategies, teaching methods and techniques, and testing and evaluation. The students will also acquire knowledge of the development, learning experiences and difficulties of various learners. They will also apply the most appropriate teaching strategies, methods and techniques with respect to learners’ considerations and outputs related to the field, and individual differences.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Students define how to teach language skills in an integrated way;
2 Students prepare lesson plans in an integrated way, especially to teach different age and ability groups. ;
3 Students identify how to integrate grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in an integrated skills lesson plan.;
4 Students demonstrate knowledge of multi-skill instruction with various instructional materials, activities, and procedures promoting meaningful communication.;
5 Students recognize the strategies that the students would need in learning language skills in an integrated way.;
6 Students determine the required lesson stages and implement appropriate language activities for students at different ages and proficiency levels.;
7 Students criticize the effectiveness of classroom applications of language skills through analyzing a variety of techniques and stages of language instruction.;
