Management and Organization Non-Thesis Master's Program
General Description
The Department of Business Administration carries out master´s programs with and without thesis and doctoral programs within the Institute of Social Sciences, which was established in 1982. This program is carried out by the Field of Management - Organization under the Department of Business Administration.
When the program is completed successfully and the program qualifications are met, a master degree in the field of management and organization is achieved.

Those who have a bachelor´s degree in any field can apply to the program.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Student’s must take at least 30 credit and 90 ECTS courses and be successful by taking 70 points out of 100 in these courses. In addition they must prepare term project successfullly to take the master diploma.

Profile of The Programme
The main purpose of the program is to learn the information needed in the field of business, to meet the demands of corporate stakeholders, to ensure the development of managerial knowledge and skills especially of the employees working in management staff, to contribute to the development of the scientific literature by bringing together academicians and practitioners.
Master program without thesis continue throughout 1,5 years that include 1 year course stage and 1 semestre term project. Each student is assigned an advisor and with the help of their advisors they make their course preferences.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
The graduates of the department can work as Academician, Human Resources Specialist, Manager, Management Consultant, Inspector, Marketing Specialist, Marketing Consultant, Production Planner.

Access to Further Studies
Students who lateral transfer to master programs with thesis have the opportunity to continue doctorate programs in case they meet the entry requirements.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Student should register for the courses at the beginning of the term and attend at least 70% of the courses to take the final examination. Students take at least one final examination for each of the courses during a term. All exams are assessed over a total of 100 point. To be successful students have to get at least 70 points from each courses. Students are successful if they get AA, BA, BB, CB and CC in courses

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the program, it is required to pass all the courses in the program and to be successful at term project.

Education Language is Turkish in the depatment. In Management - Organization Department, at present there are 6 Professors, 1 Associate Professor and 2 Research Asistants on duty. A library, reading room and a computer lab are available for students’ use. Students have options to study at contractual universities within the Erasmus and Farabi programs.
