Religious Services and Professional Development/Non-Thesis Master's Program
General Description
Religious Services and Professional Development Non-Thesis Master´s Program is a joint program that receives support from the Departments of Basic Islamic Sciences, Philosophy, Religious Studies and Islamic History and Arts.
After the programme of 90 ECTS has been completed and the qualifications of the programme have been provided, masters degree is taken in the Religious Services and Professional Development Non-Thesis Master´s Program

Specific Admission Requirements
Candidates who will apply to the Religious Services and Professional Development Non-Thesis Master´s Program must have a bachelor´s degree. Foreign language and ALES score will not be required.

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
In order to receive the Religious Services and Professional Development Non-Thesis Master´s Program Diploma, the student must take the undergraduate courses deemed necessary by the advisor, and successfully complete a program consisting of at least 17 graduate courses and a term project.

Profile of The Programme
The aim of the Religious Services Non-Thesis Master´s program is to train expert researchers with critical thinking skills who will be able to produce knowledge in related disciplines and share this knowledge at national and international level.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
The Master Alumni in Basic Islamic Sciences can do their jobs more effectively in educational and religious fields and also have the chance to be research assistances or faculty staff in the universities.

There is no transiton high level programs.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Every student must attend minimum %70 of the lessons in order to take the final examinations. Every student is subjected to a final examination at the end of a semester for each course. All exams are evaluated in 100 scale. It is necessary to achieve 70 in the semester final. When any of AA, BA, BB or CB achieved, they are regarded as successful.

One must have ECTS credits that is a requirment of the program.
