19 Objective of the Course: The realization of the objectives of music education programs in elementary and secondary school, carrying out the activities of teaching music education and providing the recognation of school music repertoire that is an important tool in creating the necessary gains in students. In addition, it supports the students proffessional life by using the effective educational approaches.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to understand the content of school music repertoire.;
2 To be able to comprehend the properties of school music repertoire fort he purposes of music education programs in primary and secondary school.;
3 To be able to understand the basic principles of voice education that is determined according to age groups.;
4 To be able to determine the examples of school music repertoire that are taught by age groups.;
5 To analyz the examples of school music repertoire in terms of prosody.;
6 To be able to apply teaching methods and techniques of school music repertoire that is taught according to age periods.;
7 To be able to accompany the examples of music repertoire with school musical instruments (flute, piano ect.);
8 To try to write the children songs in the contents of school music repertoire.;

1 Definitions, the contents of school music repertoire
2 Resolving the problem that prevents to formation of school music repertoire.
3 The periods of song repertoire in our country and songs from these periods.
4 The concept of prosody.
5 The introduction of voice training, basic principles of voice education and age periods in class
6 Sound characteristic, sound limit of first age period and songs from this periods.
7 The period of sound change in children
8 Basic principles of sound education during the period of sound change
9 Sound characteristic, sound limit of of second age period and songs from this period.
10 Sound characteristic, sound limit of third age period and song from this perod.
11 The effective teaching methods and approaches that are applied to the school music repertoire.
12 The method of “Orff” and the musical instruments that are used in school music.
13 Children’s song composition studies
14 Introducing importent sources of educational music repertoire from past to present.
