19 Objective of the Course: The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on basic concepts and principles of individual appraisal and to help them to use non-standardized techniques in student appraisal.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To understand the importance of non-standardized techniques in appraisal;
2 To know the differences between standardized and non-standardized techniques.;
3 To categorize the non-standardized techniques.;
4 The knowledge of characteristics of non-standardized techniques.;
5 To understand technical qualities of non-standardized techniques.;
6 To select appropriate non-standardized techniques in individual appraisal.;
7 To arrange forms related to non-standardized techniques.;
8 To apply non-standardized techniques and to acquire the interpretation skill about their consequences.;
9 To determine the validity and reliability of non-standardized techniques;

2 Assessment: Why and How? It’s definition, importance, purpose, and techniques
3 Standardized and non-standardized techniques Differences between standarsized tests and nonstandardized techniques
4 Student appraisal in schools: Principles and problems.
5 Observational Techniques: Observation, Rating Scales, Case Record, Case Study
6 Self Report Techniques: Problem Check List, Autobiography
7 Study week
8 Self Report Techniques: Wish List, Completing Unfinished Sentences
9 Self Resport Techniques: Questionnaires, Check Lists, Memory Records, Time Schedule
10 Sociometric techniques: Sociometry , Guess Who?/Who is this?
11 Other techniques: Psychodrama, Sociodrama, Play Theraphy, Home Visits
