Objective of the Course:
The purpose of this course to teach the students the classical and national forms, the genres, and styles in Turkish Islamic Lierature.

Learning Outcomes:
1
To classify the texts of Turkish Islamic Literature in terms of shape properties;
2
To learn the basic concepts of the national form;
3
To notice the literary texts written with the national form;
4
To recognize the classical forms and the genres transferred from Arabic and Persian poetry;
5
To define the basic terms related classical forms and genres;
6
To recognize the tradation of writing “nazire” and to examine the “Mecmuat al Nazair”s;
7
To xamine the techniques of writing poetry, such as “tahmis”, “terbi” and “tashtir”;
8
Create the relationship between form and genre;
9
To see the relationship between genre and style in Turkish Islamic Literature;

To access the sources of religious and literary genres;
