19 Objective of the Course: Basic principles and concepts are taught and aims to enable the students to express their creative powers, their experiences related to visual perception in education, their observations, and their emotions by using art.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know the basic principles of art, to understand and to adapt to the subject.;
2 To analyze three dimensional surfaces on two dimensional surfaces.;
3 To have the ability to design classical and original designs with all kinds of technical knowledge and equipment.;
4 To have the necessary comprehensive knowledge, critical thinking and creative thinking skills to evaluate the effects of the work on the subject, universal and social dimensions.;
5 To be able to have professional and ethical responsibility.;

7 To be able to perceive and comprehend objects of past and present art objectively and to compare and synthesize them.;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Definition of art, branches of art, definition of basic art education, importance, aim, resources used in basic art education lesson, introduction of tools to be used. Basic principles and concepts are taught and aims to enable the students to express their creative powers, their experiences related to visual perception in education, their observations, and their emotions by using art.
2 Design Elements. Design Principles. Light Application is made by explaining the possibilities of expressing the light values by dividing and cutting the white cardboards according to the various systems or systemlessness, removing the cut parts, twisting, twisting, crumpling and void - filled areas. Thus, a better perception of the natural and artificial light effect is achieved.
3 Information about points and lines from design elements. Definitions, types, point and line in visual expression. Psychological effects. Where art line members are used. 5 To understand the effect of light color by making a stain work with a composition study with light - dark, light - shadow with gouache technique Collage work
6 General Evaluation Light-dark, black-and-white technique, stain work

8 Information about tissue. Natural and artificial textures. To be able to recognize the nature by establishing a relationship between looking and seeing in nature, to explain the role of making the outer surfaces of the touch effective from plastic and creating a new dimension.
9 Painting objets with textural features, strengthening observation and perception. Expression of an organic object with point - line - light - tone
