19 Objective of the Course: To have the students grasp of the fact that information about the past could not be history without analysis, explanation and interpretation.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to understand the necessity of reading historical documents with the ability of deciphering the language employed;
2 To be able to grasp the vitality of applying to the dictionaries and other reference books in reading historical documents;
3 To be able to sort out by whom the historical sources written ;
4 To be able to sort out for whom the historical sources written;
5 To be able to sort out why the historical sources written;
6 To be able to understand the fact that oversimplification and overgeneralization are serious dangers in historical writing ;
7 To be able to grasp the fact that history alone is not an area of investigation without other disciplines;
8 To know the fact that it is obligatory to have the support of other disciplines to be able to evaluate the historical documents;
