19 Objective of the Course: Nowadays, to accomplish the needs of increasing cat and dog population and to regulate relationship between society, detecting animal behavioral problems to be known should be detected, treat with drugs and behavioral modification, before the occurrence of behavioral problems and aim to teach behavioral problems might occur in shelters or behavior problems which inhibit adaptation and their solution.

1 Learning behavioral patterns of cats and dogs;
2 Ability to understand of animals body language;
3 Define abnormal behavior and analyse causes;
4 Learn to use behavior history form, develope communication with animal owners and getting information ability;
5 Creating differential diagnosis list;
6 Getting basic knowledge about psychopharmacology;
7 Using drugs and ability of applying behavior modification methods;
8 Information for treatment and protection of behavior disorders in animal shelters;
9 Teaching environmental enrichment technics;

2 Canine and feline behavior of sensory and neuronal origin
3 Canine and feline vocal, postural, marking communications and communicative behavior problems
4 Socialization and other critical periods, social behavior problem
5 Aggression, types, diagnosis and treatment
6 Anxiety and compulsive behaviors
7 Anxiety and compulsive behaviors
8 Adult urination and defecation, eliminative behavior development, adult movements, resting behavior, locomotor behavior problems
9 Agression, diagnosis and treatment options in cats
10 Elimination problems, anxiety in cats
11 Canine cognitive dysfunction, diagnosis and treatment
12 Phychopharmacology and alternative treatment options (homeotherapy, behavior modification technics)
13 Behavior problems in shelters
14 Cases of behavioral problems and solutions
