1 To comprehend historical development of Turkish Folk Music; 2 To learn different types blonging to Turkish Folk Music; 3 To know the changing marks and intervals used in Turkish Folk Music; 4 To know the basic structure of scale used in Turkish Folk Music; 5 To comprehend the tempos used in Turkish Folk Music; 6 To comprehend the functions and the place of Turkish Folk Music in music education given in schools; 7 To compare the features of Turkish Folk Music with Classical Turkish Music; 8 To assest present studies of Turkish folk Music; 9 To comprehend features of instruments of Turkish Folk Music;
