19 Objective of the Course: To present the period’s that extend the process between the period that the written texts of the Turkish Language had been formed to our today’s Turkish.To present the important Works that had been written in this period and to help comprehending the language characteristic of the period.To present the areas’ whereTurkish become widespread today.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 First of all, to improve the Turkish Language, the literature of Turkish Language, the Turkish art and it’s culture.To help acquiring the Turkish Language and the characteristics of the literature Works that had been created by this language and to help transfering this acquired characteristics to the constructed studies.;
2 To study the basic Works of Turkish Literature through a historical course,to find the characteristic of it and to reach a result by interpreting these.;
3 To know that language and literature is the basis of Tutkish culture and to work to protect this basis.;
4 To understand the changes in Turkish before and after Islamic religion and in the modern period.;
5 To recognize the first products that had been formed in new geography’s and culture’s environment.;
6 To comprehend the characteristics and differences of Turkish between periods.;
7 To comprehend the important works’ and language charecteristics of the Turkish Language in the East, the North and the West.;
8 To make language researches on the texts and to consider analysis as a procedure;
9 Planning,processing and evaluation of a particular lesson and the knowledge and skills that one gain’s within program.;
10 To comprehend the teacher’s guidance duties and the ways to be acquainted with the student.;

1 Theory of Altaic language. Wide family theory and to be classified of the world language.
2 Contacts of Sumer language-Turkish and Saka-Turks. Asia and Europe Huns and Turkish language.
3 Kokturks. Inscriptions of Orkhun Turkic. Finding and reading of inscriptions of Orkhun Turkic. Researches about inscriptions of Orkhun Turkic.
4 Characteristic of Kokturk Turkish. Statu of Orkhun. Text analysis.
5 Statu of Orkhun. Text analysis.
6 Uighurs and works of Uighur. Studies on the works of Uighur. Characteristic of historical Uighur Turkish. Text analysis.
7 Karakhanid Turkish. Characteristics of Karakhanid Turkish. Works written in Karakhanid Turkish: Divânü Lügati’t- Türk.
8 Works written in Karakhanid Turkish: Kutadgu Bilig.
9 Works written in Karakhanid Turkish: Kutadgu Bilig.
10 Works written in Karakhanid Turkish: Kutadgu Bilig.
11 Historical background that prepared northeast Turkish. Characteristics of Kharezm Turkish. Works of Kharezm Turkish.
