Objective of the Course:
MA students will improve their knowledge in the field of program development and evaluation for foreign language learners through following fundamental and current research in the field and, develop the skills of critical thinking, synhesizing and analysis.

Learning Outcomes:
1
To improve and deepen theoretical and applied knowledge base in the field of foreign language program design and evaluation;
2
To posses the ability to search for current information on foreign language program design and evaluation and the language skills for obtaining and generating knowledge at the highest level;
3
To review, understand and interpret international literature on foreign language program design and evaluation ;
4
To improve academic skills necessary for the application of acquired knowledge base into the process of designing and evaluating program for teaching English as a foreign language ;
5
To analyze the process of designing and evaluating a foreign language program ;
6
To acquire necessary skills for using technology and relevant Internet sources in order to understand research on foreign language program design and evaluation;
7
To find possible solutions for the problems and factors effecting the process of designing and evaluating a language program through using quantitative and qualitative research methods;
8
To interpret the field of foreign language program design and evaluation within the dimensions of professional development and professional goals ;
