19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is getting teacher trainees to comprehend word groups, elements of sentence, functions of these elements and its types. By examining the sentences such as; affirmative and negative sentences, noun clause and verb clause, compound clause and simple clause, flat and inverted sentences, etc. to get them to have these features.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 For improving Turkish culture and art, initially the Turkish language and Turkish literature, to learn the features of Turkish and literature works, that are created with this language, and to transmit these learned features to the practices that will be done.;
2 To learn the structure and features of Turkish as a language and o transmit these learned features to the behaviors, while using the language.;
3 To lay the groundwork for acquisition of contemporary knowledge of its field, to benefit from scientific researches and contemporary methods and techniques.;
4 To comprehend the basic subjects about sentence knowledge.;
5 To benefit from the researches on sentence knowledge by scanning them.;
6 To identify the elements of Turkish that compose the sentence and word groups and their definitions.;
7 Structure of the sentence and To have an idea in discussions about the definitions and classification of word groups.;
8 To comprehend the types of sentences that created in Turkish.;
9 To comprehend methods of text analysis by studying on texts, To know the usage of language as material in education and training and doing exercises about these. ;
10 With using received competences in the program, to be able to plan a lesson, handle and evaluate the lesson, By understanding teacher’s role in guidance and the ways to acknowledge the student, to know and apply them in different learning approaches along with the students’ developmental features;

2 Definition of subject and verb, their features. Analysis of sentences
3 Subordinative of place, adverbial clause, definition of its elements of out-of-sentence and object and their features. Analysis of sentences
4 Word groups: definition of noun clause and adjective clause, and their features. Analysis of Sentences.
5 Word groups: definition of groups of noun-verb, adverb-verb, adjective-verb and their features. Analysis of Sentences.
6 Word groups: definition of prepositions group and conjunction group and their features. Analysis of Sentences.
7 Word groups: repetition group, definition of the group of exclamation and its features. Analysis of Sentences.
8 Word groups: title group, definition of the group of compound noun and its features. Analysis of Sentences.
9 Word groups: Definition of compound verb and its features. Analysis of Sentences.
10 Word groups: group of number, definition of the group of abbreviation and their features. Analysis of Sentences.
