19 Objective of the Course: To study the Arabic grammar activities in the regions of Ottoman sovereignty from the political dominance of Ottomans over Arab World until the ends of 19th century when the most of Arab countries gained their independences, and the comprehension of the reflections of these activities. And to highlight importance of Arabic language for muslim nations (Arabs and non-Arabs)

2 To point out the importance of Arabic language education in front of the other educational activities;
3 Contribution of Turks to the Arabic language;
4 Comprehension of Turks contribution to the Arabic-Islamic civilization;
5 Apprehension of importance of grammar in Arabic language learning;
6 Comparison of modern methods of langauge teaching with the methods used in Ottoman Period ;
7 Tracing the development in language teaching methods;
8 Evaluation of difficulties in teaching Arabic for non-natives;
9 To gain ability for criticizing methods of language teaching in the Ottoman Period;
10 To have knowlegde about modern language teaching methods;
