19 Objective of the Course: To enable the students to comprehend and evaluate better the religious and literary texts by making them learn the subjects which recital science deals
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To comprehend the importance of understanding the “denotation” of a word to understand the word;
2 To realize the predominance of metaphor in everyday and academic language although the base in a word is the true meaning;
3 To avoid the superficial and literal interpretations by learning the possibilities of metaphor and allusion in a word ;
4 To gain the ability of properly analyzing either the classical or modern sources and accordingly make correct analysis;
5 To be able to evaluate the conflicts between sects of different disciplines in terms of most probability in denotation of word and explain the conflict reasons ;
6 To be able to compare the syntax in classical texts and modern texts in terms of the preferred “type of denotation” ;
7 Developing ‘perception level’ and gaining power of ‘logical framework’ by learning the ways of denotation of a word;
8 To know the classical and modern sources related to literary arts;
9 To gain a strong critical perspective by using the ability of correct evaluating and analyzing gained in terms of denotation of word;
10 To develop a unique style of expressing thoughts and feelings;
