19 Objective of the Course: The purpose of the course is to teach how to approach to the text of play in terms of analytical perspective; features of play in terms of core and form, estimating author and his era. The course aims at educating the students to the level where they can discuss artistry of any play.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To learn analytically approach to the play texts of the romantic period

1 Having general knowledge of conditions, which created Romanticism, features and writers of the movement;
2 Having general knowledge of the conditions, which created Naturalism, features and writers of the movement;
3 Analyzing Schiller's play The Bandits in detail;
4 Analyzing Victor Hugo’s play Hernani in detail;
5 Analyzing Goethe's play Faust in detail;
6 Analyzing Ibsen's play Nora in detail;

7 Comparison of German romanticism and French romanticism within the scope of two plays
8 Analysis, writer-period, plot, action plan, style, personification and conflicts of Goethe's Faust
9 Analysis, writer-period, plot, action plan, style, personification and conflicts of Goethe's Faust
