19 Objective of the Course: To enable the student to learn illumination art design and painting techniques in practice.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To enable students to make the necessary drawings by learning the basic illumination design rules and to enable the training of designers by prioritizing the use of traditional designs in various sectors.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Studying Rumi pattern design rules by drawing them. ;
2 Design application with Rumi elements.;
3 Explaining and applying the Rumi rules of the second half of the 16th century.;
4 Transferring the prepared Rumi design to Murakka.;
5 Preparation of colors of 16th century Rumi elements.;
6 Preparation of 16th century ground colours.;
7 16th century reed path pattern design reproduction work.;
8 Drawing and applying the analysis of segmented leaves, dorsal leaves, and folded leaves.;
9 Tracing paper with soot crushed with gum arabic. ?;
10 Preparation of ring design in size 50x40.;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Explaining the pattern rules in Rumi motif design. Rumi motif tasarımda desen kurallarının anlatılması ve rumi elemanların kurllarının çizilerek uygulanması.
2 Giving information about the use of the Rumi motif over the centuries. Application of the Rumi motif by drawing period differences according to the rules over the centuries.
3 Rumi motif elemanlar ile 16.yy tasarım kurallarına göre 20x20 ebadında tasarım uygulanmasının anlatılması. Drawing and applying the 20x20 sized design with Rumi motif elements according to the 16th century design rules.
4 Explaining the gold crushing process with gum arabic and paper dyeing methods. Application of gold crushing process with gum arabic.
5 Explaining 15th century Rumi motif design rules. Explaining and applying the 15th century Rumi motif design rules.
6 Explaining the method of making brush works on patterns designed with soot ink crushed with gum arabic on tracing paper. Aydınger kağıda, arap zamkı ile ezilmiş is mürekkebi ile tasarımı hazırlanan desenlerin fırça çalışması yapılması.
