19 Objective of the Course: In this course, which is a preliminary preparation for book arts, it is aimed to learn many applications from paper painting and improving procedures in clasical style to preparing gold ready to use. The applications made within the scope of this course also contribute to the courses in the following semesters.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The types of materials used in book arts will be prepared and made usable.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Can give general information about the definition and history of paper,;
2 Can define and apply paper painting techniques in classical style,;
3 Can make starch ahar using traditional paper processing methods,;
4 Can give general information about paper sealing and make its application,;
5 Can make egg ahar using traditional paper processing methods,;
6 Can do murakka in the classical way, can bond writings on murakka,;
7 Can bond middle edging on the border of the writing.;
8 Can make textured paper,;
9 Can have general information about gold and can make gold ready to use,;
10 Can learn to make classical slitting paper.;
