19 Objective of the Course: To be able to have information about the concepts related to Art History, to know the main periods of art history, to know and evaluate the major works of artists, to have information about the factors affecting art and the periods of art history and to make comparisons, to recognize different cultures and civilizations, to make comparisons. To be able to have information about today's world art, to know the sources related to art history.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Increasing the level of general culture by learning the development of civilizations in the direction of art, expanding the perspective of art and the world.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learns the basic concepts of Art History. Gains knowledge about the fields of science that are the source of art history.;
2 Evaluates art with its sociological, political and philosophical contexts in the process from the Prehistoric Period to the Roman and Byzantine Arts.;
3 Gains information about important artists and their works in certain periods in Art History and can make evaluations.;
4 Gains knowledge about the social and cultural aspects of art.;
5 Gains knowledge about the factors affecting art and works of art.;
6 Evaluates the work of art as a whole with the political, geographical, economic and philosophical basis of the society in which it is located.;
7 Gains knowledge about certain periods of art history and makes comparisons between them.;
8 Recognizes different cultures and their works.;
