This course includes reading and discussion on the historical and social foundations of equality/inequality and discrimination concepts and practices; It includes the evaluation of inequalities and discriminations in terms of social structure and social power relations, and the discussion of examples of how discrimination based on social/cultural differences such as social class, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and belief is experienced in the education system./ |
