19 Objective of the Course: This course includes reading and discussion on the historical and social foundations of equality/inequality and discrimination concepts and practices; It includes the evaluation of inequalities and discriminations in terms of social structure and social power relations, and the discussion of examples of how discrimination based on social/cultural differences such as social class, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and belief is experienced in the education system./
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Recognizes discrimination in their private lives, education system and society as a whole; evaluates them and stands against these practices, develops consciousness and competence.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Participants can evaluate inequalities and discriminations in terms of social structure and social power relations.;
2 Participants understand the concepts of equality/inequality and discrimination.;
3 Participants explain the impact of discrimination in society on education.;
