19	Objective of the Course:	Grasping the importance of the Life Science course for educating effective citizens. Introducing the curriculum from the aspect of outcome, skills and conceptual properties. Introduce to basic teaching skills and strategies for teaching the course Teaching the use of instructional methods and techniques for instruction of Life science teaching. Perceiving the importance of democracy teaching, and getting democratic life as behavior.
20	Contribution of the Course to Professional Development	It is aimed to train teachers who know the approach of the program, have the level of readiness the program predicts, know the importance of planning, are equipped with skills and value teaching, and can use alternative assessment approaches.

Learning Outcomes:

1	Comprehend the importance of Life Sciences (LS) in education of effective civilians.;
2	Learn the historical development of Life Sciences in Turkey;
3	Comprehend the characteristics of LS curriculum.;
4	Use basic teaching skills appropriately in LS course.;
5	Learn how to use teaching methods and lessons in LS lessons.;
